School's Out for Summer!

Closedforsummer_color Well, not quite yet, anyway... But soon enough, this high school year will be a thing of the past. Have you put any thought into what you're going to do this summer? If you haven't, you might want to start planning that now.

Ironically--okay, maybe not so ironically--colleges love kids who love to learn. And what better way to show-off your love of learning than by taking a class during your precious summer break from school?

Community colleges are a great place to start, and certainly, don't overlook the summer school classes at your own high school. But another option are classes the UC system offers each summer at their different campuses. Yeah, they cost money, but they're a great way to extend your love of learning to a new subject area, or to get more involved with a subject you already know you're good at.

Go on...check-out what they're offering this summer here: UC Summer Programs.
